The Mountains of Shewa

Growing up in a country abundantly blessed with highlands has held me back from perceiving and appreciating the majesty of mountains. These photographs explore the vastness and tranquility of the mountains of Shewa, a landscape that continues to inspire awe despite its familiarity.

The images were made across two journeys in different seasons.
